My Life & A few of My Favorite Things

I was born and raised in Monroe, NC. When I graduated from high school, I decided to pack up and leave my small town right outside of the big QC (Charlotte) and move to Boone, NC. There I attended Appalachian State university, where I graduated in May 2018 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Media Studies. Upon graduation in May, I decided I wanted to continue living in the Appalachian Mountains; and I was blessed to be able to do just that and begin my career.

I have been so blessed to become a teacher and have to the opportunity to begin my career straight out of school, here, at Williams Academy. The community here is phenomenal. This will be my first year teaching here at the academy; along with it being my first year teaching. I am so excited to help my students make the transition from first and second grade to be successful in second and third grade.
